Laax in the heart of the Swiss Alps has been crowned Switzerlands best ski resort several times.
Laax offers 235km of pistes, 4 snowparks, the worlds largest halfpipe and first indoor freestyle hall – Freestyle Academy
With 70% of the resort slopes between the 2000 to 3000 metres making Laax one of the most snow sure resorts in Switzerland. The range of pistes of Flims Laax Falera combined appeals to beginners, families, intermediate and advanced.
There are numerous cosy mountain bars and restaurants offering a wide range of food. Our favourites are La Vacca (a tipee with a central roaring fire serving steak and red wine), or the sophistication of Das Elephant. There are lots to choose from both up the mountain and in the valley.
In addition to the skiing and snowboarding, it offers three sledge runs, 62km of cross country ski trails and 100km of winter hiking trails. Other winter activities include snowshoeing, night sledging, learning new tricks at the Freestyle Academy, indulging in one of the many spas or simply eating and drinking and enjoying the apres ski.
During the winter months there is a free ski bus 150 metres from the chalet that takes you to the Rocks Resort where the closest lift station is located.
